Terms of Service

These terms govern your subscription to LVAI Pro (the "Service"), offered by Legal Velocity AI ("we", "us"). By subscribing or using the Service you agree to them.

1. What the Service is

LVAI Pro is a set of legal workflows ("skills" and "commands") delivered into your Claude account through a plugin and a connector. The Service provides instructions, references, scripts and document templates to Claude on your behalf. It is licensed, not sold.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for practicing attorneys and the staff working under their supervision. You are responsible for compliance with the rules of professional conduct that apply to you, including your duties of competence, confidentiality and supervision.

3. Seats and license keys

• A subscription is priced per seat. Each seat is for one named individual and is issued a personal connector URL, which functions as that individual's license key.
• You may not share a connector URL between people, publish it, or use it to serve the Service to third parties. If a URL is exposed, tell us and we will replace it.
• We may suspend or revoke a seat that is shared, resold or used in breach of these terms.

4. Billing and cancellation

• Fees are billed in advance, monthly or annually, per seat, through Stripe. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; service continues through the end of the paid period and is not refunded for the unused portion, except where required by law.
• If a renewal payment fails, the Service may continue for a short grace period and then pause until payment is made.

5. Your responsibilities

The Service assists with legal work; it does not practice law and does not provide legal advice. Every document the Service helps produce must be reviewed by a licensed attorney before it is relied on or filed. The verification features check that authorities exist and that quotations match the source; they do not determine whether an authority supports your argument, remains good law, or applies to your facts.

6. Third-party services

The Service runs inside Claude (Anthropic, PBC) and uses Midpage for legal research. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Legal Velocity AI is not affiliated with Anthropic or Midpage.

7. Intellectual property

The workflows, references, templates and other content delivered through the Service are proprietary to Legal Velocity AI and are licensed to you for use in your own practice. You may not copy, redistribute or create derivative products from them. Documents you produce with the Service are yours.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

9. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms. Material changes to the terms will be posted here with a new date; continued use after that date is acceptance.
